The fair is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24.
We have openings for shifts on Friday evening to help with set-up. And morning and afternoon shifts on Saturday and Sunday to help with running the main welcoming table.
Friday Evening (up to 3 hours) - 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday/Sunday Morning Shift - 9:30am - 2:30pm
Saturday/Sunday Afternoon Shift - 2:00pm - *6:00pm
PLEASE READ - THANK YOU!
Please make sure you are able to stay for the entire duration of your shift, as scheduled, before volunteering. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate partial shifts, late arrivals, or custom timing requests.
Friday shift 4:00pm - 7:00pm: We need volunteers to help with setup. Tasks include unloading the van and carrying items (TV trays, large totes, signage) into the building and up to the 2nd floor (elevators available), plus setting up tables, chairs, signage, and decorations.
Morning shifts 9:30am - 2:30pm: Your first 30 minutes (9:30am - 10am) will allow you to meet with the volunteer coordinator and receive your volunteer assignment. We mostly need assistance with working the table at the front and welcoming guests. Your final 30 minutes overlap with the afternoon volunteers so you can brief them and pass along any important info. The afternoon volunteers will arrive at 2:00pm.
Afternoon shifts 2:00pm - 6:00pm*: Your first 30 mins will overlap with the morning shift. You will be taking over and they will be briefing you on anything you might need to know. We mostly need your assistance with working the front table and welcoming guests. Your final 30-60 minutes are for wrap-up and teardown tasks.
A note on wrap-up and teardown (afternoon shifts): Saturday will most likely take around 30 mins to wrap-up (5:00 - 5:30), Sunday we will be breaking down the entire fair and if you could stay (5:00 - 6:00) to help that would be greatly appreciated! But at the very least we ask that you stay long enough to wrap up and break down the front table (where you will be volunteering).
OUR GIFT TO YOU
As a thank you for your volunteering, we are offering all volunteers a free session with one of our lead team members - Ari, Valorie or Amber. Your free session will take place online via Zoom. You will be provided with a booking link to schedule your online session after the fair completes.
